We held a tool swap at our December meeting.  All sorts of things were for sale.  We had soldering irons, grinders, motors, tools, vacuum pumps, router bits, etc.

We also held club elections.  Here are the results:

Craig was a unanimous choice for President again

Rick Strope will be taking over for Scott Solsburg as the VP

Norm Beal will be taking over for Lynn Southward as our new Treasurer

Ted Wilkins will continue be our Secretary

Jim Nickless will fill our newly created Librarian position

Lynn Southward will fill our newly created Demonstration Coordinator position

Don't forget to bring in your "Saves" for our discussion about "What to do when things go wrong" (instead of the demo) at the January meeting!  Also our January President's Challenge item is " any turned art".

The pictures below show some of the items brought in for the monthly President's Challenge entries and show-and-tell.  Congratulations to our President's Challenge winners Jim Nickless, Scott Solsburg, and Paul Malnar!  As always, thanks to all of those that brought in items for the President's Challenge, show and tell, and those that brought in flag bases for our veterans.

Ted has CA (super) glue and accelerator for sale.  He has 2 oz bottles of thin, medium and thick for $1 each.  He also has black super glue for $1 each.

Don't forget about our special challenge of turning wooden flag holders for our veterans at the Ann Arbor VA hospital.  All bases should have a 3/16" hole to accept the flag.

We are starting a mentoring program for our membership.  If you are willing to help by fielding questions, please get in touch with Craig or Scott.
