About Us

Our club has been in existence since the Fall of 2004. We have grown to approximately 50 members. We typically meet every second Saturday of the month at 1:00PM in Blissfield, Michigan. If you are interested in joining us, please feel free to stop by Southward Custom Wood Products (see the address and map link below).
-Our March 10th demonstration will be all about turning bowls featuring Rick S and Ted Wilkins. Our President's Challenge item is any turned kitchen utensils of your choice.
-We are hosting Alan Lacer for a special demonstration on March 31st.
-Our April 14th demonstration will feature Norm Beall showing us some basic metalsmithing. Our President's Challenge item is a "Usable Bowl".
-Our May 12th demonstration will feature a sharpening workshop led by many members. Our President's Challenge item is a "Anything with at least three legs or feet".
-Our June 9th demonstration will feature Rick S. showing you his sphere cutting jig. Our President's Challenge item is a "TBD".
-There will be no demonstration for our annual July picnic (date TBD). Our President's Challenge item is a "Yoyo".
-Our August11th demonstration is TBD. Our President's Challenge item is a "Spindle Turning".
-Our September 8th demonstration is TBD. Our President's Challenge item is a "a miniature less than 1" in diameter".
-Our October 13th demonstration is TBD. Our President's Challenge item is a "Any Turned Game".
-Our November 10th demonstration is TBD. Our President's Challenge item is a "Toys for Tots".
